This Privacy Policy explains how Northlight (“Northlight”, “Northlight”, “Northlight's”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website or get in touch. Northlight keep data collection to the minimum needed to respond to you and run this site.

1. Information Northlight collect

Northlight only collect what you choose to give Northlight, plus basic technical data:

• Contact enquiries. When you submit the contact form, Northlight collect your name, email address, and the message you send.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe, Northlight collect your email address.
• Technical data. Like most websites, Northlight's hosting may automatically log standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.

Providing this information is voluntary. However, without your name and email Northlight won’t be able to reply to your enquiry or send you the newsletter updates you’ve requested.

Northlight do not collect sensitive personal information, and Northlight do not knowingly collect data from children.

2. How Northlight use your information

Northlight process your information based on your consent (which you give by contacting Northlight or subscribing) and Northlight's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running this site. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Northlight don’t sell or rent your data. Northlight share it only with service providers that help Northlight operate the site and communicate with you — for example email delivery and hosting providers — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. These providers process data on Northlight's behalf under their own terms. Northlight may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Cookies & local storage

This site uses minimal browser storage. Your light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it — this stays on your device and is not sent to Northlight. If any analytics are used, they are configured to respect your privacy and avoid unnecessary tracking.

Northlight keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to correspond with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask Northlight to delete your data sooner at any time.
